 Location marking app? (Android)
I'm trying to find an Android app that allows you to mark locations/positions on a map, as well as add photos to the location point.
Useful for marking locations, directions, images etc of locations that you want to come back to later, especially if you're returning in the dark.
Anyone know of any such application?

GoogleMaps will let you do this but does it run as an app? Add your location on our map at https://maps.google.co.nz/maps/ms?msid= ... 316.054688

 Re: Location marking app? (Android)
Thanks for the suggestion, I found one app called Map-a-Pic that looks like it may do what I need. I'm already on the 'timescapes forum map'! - Karl in Brisbane

 Re: Location marking app? (Android)
Yeah, the west island. I saw you're down Ashburton way? I'm from Rotovegas actually, been here a couple of years. Light pollution is pretty bad here, wouldn't mind another trip down south (or north) island to get away from the light spill.
Google maps works on Android, just not sure if it has exactly what I'm after? I don't really want to 'share' my locations with anyone, but hadn't really tried google maps for what I want either. The app I found does seem to do what I need and is fairly easy to use..

 Re: Location marking app? (Android)
You dont have to share the Maps. They can be Public or Private OR 50-50 ie. available to anybody you want to share them with by sending the URL I will be getting a Samsung Tablet next Monday at work so will see what works as I need to pinpoint our clients.

 Re: Location marking app? (Android)
Can you add photos to the location? I presume then you can save your own custom map, along with any notes, etc..?
Will have a better look at it over the weekend.

Yeah, private is what I'm after. Don't want to give away too many locations
