Post Idea's to reduce Light Pollution
I hate driving 2-5 hours to the middle of nowhere in order to take pictures of the night sky. I'm also into astronomy. So I really hate light pollution. I just wanted to get some idea's on how to reduce light pollution.

My idea is to show people my work and then ask if they would be willing to change the type of light fixture they use, as everyone in my neighborhood has un-shielded lights. Basically show them the effect of bad lighting, I will also include idea on how they can save money and such.

What are other people's ideas?

I'm already a member. I just want to get some ideas from non-astronomers
