I encountered a similar situation only recently.
This worked for me - Go to 'User Control Panel' (just under Timescapes banner logo) on Board Index page just after you log in.
In the 'Options' box select 'Manage attachments'
Then delete as many as you can ...... that should allow you to make new attachments.

Hope it works.

Also try making your picture file size smaller - try some where near 800x600 for starters. I'm a Mac user and use Preview - ( Tools - Adjust size)

I wish Flickr would go back to their original layout as well. Also, Flickr links do not show up as pictures in posts, no matter what I try. I do it straight up, as the link is copied, I do it without the HTTP:, I do it without the WWW., Nothing works, so now I just put the link itself so people can click it themselves if they want. Is there a way that actually works?

I'd switch to a different site for stills if possible. Maybe I'll have to stop using stills and just post youtube or vimeo even when stills would be as good as video. I suppose I could have stills and narration in a youtube video. I kind of liked the original Flickr.

Hi D1/Matt/sciencelookers, It took me awhile to figure it out .... It was a pain .... The Timescapes functionality does not align anymore.

The best way is to embed the HTML/BBCode direct from Flikr. It works ....

Log in to Flikr and open the image you want from within your photostream. Then hit the 'share" button bottom right. It looks like a rectangle with an arrow pointing right. Hit this and a dialogue comes up. Hit "grab HTML/BBCode" if the box below it isn't open. Then select the image size you want from the drop down ( this adjusts the code). Then copy and paste all the HTML code in the box straight into the Timescapes post (just as it comes in the box) It looks something like this when you paste it into the Timescapes post (I have adjusted slightly via deletion to display the raw code)

url=https://www.flickr.com/photos/54679192@N03/12363585903/]img]https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7459/12363585903_e75c537972.jpg[/img][/url]
url=https://www.flickr.com/photos/54679192@N03/12363585903/]IMG_3905[/url] b url=https://www.flickr.com/people/54679192@N03/]SiriusJohn[/url on Flickr

The picture will then appear in preview and in the post like this:

Note: This is a picture of Mars above Durham University ..... It was a difficult shot to set up :D

(Click on the picture above and you will be taken to Flikr and you will see the "share" button (HTML/BBCode will be different though and will not work as you have to be logged in as the owner of the images))

Changing the size in the drop down below the code box before you select cut and paste the code gives you the different sizes

Above should work

PS .... Still perfecting my little macro rig at the moment .... quality is gradually getting better. Also still working on a little robotic arm.

I found you need to use the link with the extension in (ie .jpg). Then the image should be displayed in your post.
