Post subject:  Tekkeon battery to power 5D Mark II?

Hello,

I got one the ACK-E6 Replacement AC Power Adapter Supply from China and it works well with my 5D Mark II.
Last night I discovered that I can connect the Battery Adapter to my tekkeon battery.

I don't know anything about electricity and before I kill my camera I like get some advice.

The tekkeon battery provides 5V,6V,7.5V,9v, 12V..etc
The Canon camera battery provides 7.2V
The ACK-E6 Replacement AC Power Adapter Supply provides 8.2V

Would it be save to use the tekkeon battery with my 5D?

Thanks for te help.

I have a similar question. I recently bought this to recharge some of my gadgets. http://www.amazon.com/000mAh-CP1805AL-Tablet-External-Battery/dp/B0056CTY3Q/ref=sr_1_34?ie=UTF8&m=A1N9RAACBF2K5W&s=generic&qid=1310670918&sr=1-34

It has 9 volt mode. Does anyone know if this would be too much voltage for my 5dm2 using the Ack-e6 dummy battery?

9volts will probably be OK, but is getting into the danger area, so personally I would not go above 8.5v.
A 7.5v output should be just right.
