ProRes 422/444 encoding on Windows Tutorial
Thought I'd post this in case anyone is interested.
I needed to encode some of my footage to ProRes 422 but I use Windows. Luckily I found a solution for this:
http://slugco.com/meta/ProResOnWindows/It will work on Premiere Pro and After Effects if you load the project in Adobe Media Encoder. It will also work with FFmbc instead of FFmpeg.
I also tested the rendered files on Moutain Lion, QuickTime, Final Cut Pro X and re-encoded it with Compressor. Everything works with no issues.
