So have you come up with an hourly rate for use of your balcony?

Nice view, I think downtown LA looks much better at night than during the day the view you have makes it look much better.

From the view it looks like you are near Pershing Square?

Antz, the rate is a 6 pack an hour.

Scott, I'm about two blocks from Pershing Square.

Great view, reminds me of my apartment view a few years back in the CBD Sydney Australia.

Wish I was into timelapse back then!

Shooting in Pershing square was hilarious. Security were on me before the third tripod leg was extended.

Ben - I am surprised I have not been hassled by security at Pershing Square, but I have only shot there once before.

I have been hassled multiple times at the Disney Concert Hall and a few other buildings nearby. I have learned that you can get a permit to shoot at Union Station (very cool art deco building) with a tripod by going to the office next to the front doors and signing a release. I have found shooting around downtown is almost hassle free and there are very few folks around in the evening into the night.
