Need help choosing lens for a Pentax K-30
Hi all, First post from a timelapse newbie. I`ve been fooling around with timelapse for a little while now and really enjoy making them as well as watching them.
Now I`d like to get a little more serious about it, and would like to purchase a new lens specifically for timelapse videos. I`ve got a Pentax K-30 (which is a very, very noisy camera) and have been using a Sigma 17-70 f2.8-4 lens, which is okay but would like something a little better.
I live in Tokyo and want to make videos about the city, from landscapes, trains, crowds, the traffic through to ... whatever. I am on a budget, and would be looking at something up to a maximum of around US$1000. For that amount of money, could anyone make some suggestions as to what might be a good buy?
Thanks in advance!
