Post Backup on field?
Hi everyone!
For my project (viewtopic.php?f=7&t=10385), I will have to shoot a lot of timelapses on mountains without power and cars.
I will have 3x32GB and 3x16GB memory cards but I'm wondering how to backup all my files on the field? I tough about having a computer and 4 Hard Drive but it is a little bit heavy (with all systems, cameras, lenses, my rucksack weight around 46 pounds... and I have to take my clothes, food, etc).
So I tough that a HyperDrive could be the better choice : http://www.hypershop.com/HyperDrive-COL ... u2-500.htm

What do you think of this? Have you a cheaper solution which can do a double backup?

I had the 1st generation of these type of hard drives without a display and found that I could not download more than 32Gb before I had to change /charge the battery.

So I would go for one without a display and check how much you can download.

Also check if the battery can easily be swapped out.

Best Luck

Thanks for the answer!
I found this : NextoDI Nexto Extreme ND2730. The autonomy is around 120minutes and a 32GB card is copied in 7min10 (according to the official website). There is also an external battery (2200 mAh) so I think it will be enough!
But my actual problem is how to do a second backup on another hard drive?

I was having a look at these kinds of devices recently but ended up going only with a netbook and uploading to online storage services like Google Drive. It took me a lot of time, obviously, to upload the big amounts of data, though I saved a lot of money ;-)
