Post Power supplies
Hi all - just taking the plunge into time lapse and really keen to shoot in remote locations, though at the moment I'm staying local until I get the hang of this unexpectedly tricky art.

I'm looking at preparing for my future exploits, however, and one thing I'm thinking about is autonomous power. I'm very interested in Lithium Polymer batteries as an option. Has anyone used these? If you have multiple devices to run, what kind of connectors/cables do you find work best for outdoor use, for connecting several things at once? I'm interested in going for the most reliable and rugged setup once I get going.

By the way, I have a Sony A77 and after a hard lesson learned on a damp night in the New Forest :? , I've just bought a dew heater strap and controller, which needs a 12v input - hence my current interest in this topic.

I'm using these:

I'm not sure how well they power multiple devices at once, haven't tried yet, but they're champs at power at least one device at a time. Well priced and reliable in my experiences. Come with connectors to power a plethora of devices, including Arduino and Raspberry controlled MoCo.

Brennan, that's awesome. I hadn't seen that brand before. Luckily it's available on the UK Amazon site which means I can get it delivered more easily. I'll definitely take a look as the price is so reasonable. Thanks a lot!
