Furio from FX Motion...and loads of questions from a newbie
I am currently researching on available rental equipment in Denmark and the nordic countries for timelapse, and came across the Furio set up from FX Motion ...
http://www.fx-motion.com/ ... and I wonder if anyone here has an idea if it´s pretty easy to make it work in a timelapse setup.
My knowledge is pretty limited, although I have both researched on the subjct, here and there, especially here, lately, and have worked with Ron Fricke a year ago as Magidson Films danish production service provider and location manager. But as a cinematographer I have never performed any timelapse myself.
From what I can see, this Furio might what I am looking for, except that I have no idea if there is some kind software available to make it work in a timelapse setup. Just by researching I felt pretty attached to the Camblock system, but I cannot find it anywhere in Scandinavia. I can get a pretty fair rental deal on the Furio and might even get a Talon head in as an extra standalone head for other time lapse sequences. These are my reasons to pursue this deal.
Other solutions would be either to ask someone around to buy the Camblock, or simply hire Ron Fricke and his setup for the parts of the job that requires timelapse.
Sorry for the long introduction to my puzzled thoughts, but I hope you can follow me?
