I am new here and it's look like the right place to discuss this subject

for the last week i am looking all over the web for Motion Mounts pan/tilt time lapse under 1000$ that is ready out of the BOX to do a proper time lapse photography
Not the DIY types
Like with the merlin telescope and "PapyMerlin BT" or MX2 controller and papawizerd software and so......
Because it's too complicate, I need a devise that ready in a flash to do is work.

Through my search i came across many interesting devices that almost answer my needs, but none of them hit the jackpot.

To save your time here are the ones i found on the web and the reason why NOT

1. AutoMate from the " The Gadget Works "
this is a cool device but it can go only "15 degrees down and 15 degrees up" also you cannot move horizontally and vertically in time lapse by simply pressing a button, you must put a code in to the pocket pc that control the "AutoMate" in order to move it horizontally and vertically.
( to bad, may be in the future they will improve it )

2. GigaPan EPIC Pro from "GigaPan Systems"
This devise is almost there, but in the last moment they decided not to let as enjoy horizontally and vertically time lapse movement. Why? I really don't know???

There are a few more in the market but all of them cost over 1000$ (a lot more)
If anyone here know about Motion Mounts pan/tilt time lapse under 1000$
please let us know!

I just checked out this pan and tilt head again as well.

I did not realize that it could now be mounted to a MX2 controlled dolly.

As much as I love the Kessler gear, I am not currently in a position to purchase these items.

While there are definitely limitations, the eMotino an the Dynamic Perception dolly, will give some additional options.

There is no doubt that the "Kessler gear" have the best gear for time lapse movment!
but the prices are to much for my pocket

Yup, Brian's a good guy - him and I have been in communication regarding integration, and I expect that you'll find even more neat stuff between DP and eMotimo in the future. =)

Thanks for the comments Chris, nikon, and diputs, and Jack R. The "little orange jobber" (I like this) is out there and ready to play. I am an admirer of the Dynamic Perceptions Dolly and Kessler Pan Tilt Rigs with the DC motors and especially their repeatable servo head coming out soon. If you are looking for bang for your buck for Pan and Tilt for light to mid weight SLR and video cams, I hope you will check out eMotimo.
