I've been shooting timelapse footage for a couple of months using a stage zero system. I have shot a couple of sun set/rises but I have had issues with stepping the exposures down/up as it shows up so easily in post. I have read a little about bulb ramping but have had conflicting reports on the limitations with Nikon's. I don't have a big budget but I was hoping to get some advice on what options I have and which systems out there will give me the best value for money.
I have seen the systems from triggertap: http://triggertrap.com/ and Michon: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/viv ... e?ref=live however syncing them with the SMS option on the dolly system is the main issue.
Many thanks in advance.

hi you could try http://www.promotesystems.com/products/ ... ntrol.html or http://www.elysiavisuals.com/content/ra ... ser-manual neither of these options are cheap trigger trap dongal and iPhone app are the cheapest option if you just want to have a play about but i wouldn't rely on it for critical shooting
the other option is to manually ramp your exposures and fix them in post with lightroom time-lapse or possibly panolapse all the options have there advantages and disadvantages depending on budget etc
i hope this helps a bit
