Post NikonD5100 built in intervalometer
Hi, I have a nikon d5100 with an intervalometer built-in but the maximum number of photos is 999 , is there a way to overpass this limitation ? (firmware modification) Or do I need to buy an external intervalometer ?

Thanks for helps

external. The cheap Yonguo timers work well. and they can be set to run until your camera dies.

ebay type in nikon timer and hundreds will show up. Starting at a bank breaking $9.82 and even a F100 for $60.00.
But, the cheap ebay timers do work, most are a rip off of the Canon timer. The timer states that its up to 999 frames, you just set it for 000 frames and it doesn't know when to stop.

There are even wireless ones in the $40 range. And beleive it or not, the hong kong retailers actually deliver.

Are you sure that if you put 000 un the intervalometer, it will take photos until memory run out ???
All of the product found on eBay can take a maximum of 399 photo instead of the built in intervalometer that can take 999 photos, no one has a solution ?

Thanks
