Post My DIY time lapse dolly slider
Hi there,
I want to present my project - slider for time lapse with shoot-move-shoot controller
Everything is simple and cheap - about $ 170

The camera slider is from Aluminium Lute - 2.5 metters long
The Shuttle is from building plates, profiles and bearings
The controller is from two cycle timer relay with counting display, and dc motor speed controller
and I have a MIlapse head Celestron Nexstar SLT

Here is some image:

Great job! I wish I had more time to figure out something like this myself! So does the controller control the merlin head as well (in SMS) :?:

Thank you.

The controller control only DSLR and dolly shuttle :-) I use merlin head with low speed, and I have no problem :-)

Best regards!
Martin

Is it just me or does the rail actually bend as the merlin head and camera move across?

Good effort though on the setup.

Yes, rail to bend a little, I need another tripod in the middle :-)
