Post subject:  New DIY dolly !

Hi all,

Just finished my dolly / Slider. I made a shield for An Arduino Uno with all the controls needed. The motor is driven using PWM method. And I used the Freescale MC33886 5 amps H-bridge to drive the motor. (Specs:http://www.freescale.com/files/analog/doc/data_sheet/MC33886.pdf). We cannot see the H-drive in the video because it's soldered underneath the shield.

The program is very basic: Interval, number of pics and motor mode (SMS or Continue). Also there is a potentiometer to adjust the motor speed and a switch to select the direction. Missing are the limit switches that will be added in a near future.

So I designed the PCB and had them manufactured here: https://oshpark.com/
Motor, belt, gear, bearings, tripod head, bought from eBay. All aluminium and electronic parts I already had in my garage.
