Post Added Focus and Zoom to my Rig
Added two more motors today which brings it up to 6 axis total now.
Added a 15mm Follow Focus system so I could mount my Focus and Zoom motors. I am using GT2 2mm belts to spin the lens.
Still have to mount a battery and the Controller with drives for the focus and zoom to the ring. It will be wireless so the cables don't get caught up in the roll.
Not sure what the best way to control the camera via wireless yet.
What is a good light batter that will last all night powering a t4i and two small nema17 motors that will get used very little?

That is one professional looking system, if it works as well as it looks you have a winner there. I like the integrated Tilt / Roll design, makes for quite a
compact rig :D

Awesome looking! I'm as curious about how it was made as I am about how well it works. Did you make the CNC'd parts yourself or have them made somewhere? Were the blue and red bearing blocks and motor mounts bought somewhere or fabricated (how)?

Nice job incorporating the pan axis hollow shaft into the trolley. How do the belt tensioners work? Do the idlers go in slotted holes, or is there some other adjustment?

The Blue, Orange, and Grey parts are 3d printed on a 3d printer I made. All the black parts were cut on a cnc router I made. Everything else but the main ring bearing and Makerslide and Follow Focus I made in my shop.
So far it works very well. No complaints yet. But haven't had it really out at a remote location yet. Thats will be this weekend.
The Pan Tilt and Roll motor mounts just slide for tension then tighten the screws. The Dolly you tension the belt. The Focus and Zoom have 6 degrees of freedom and can be moved anywhere to tighten the belts.
