Post Where can i buy cheapest dolly?
Hello,

Like in header - do you know where can i buy cheapest motorized dolly? I don't have proper tools & don't know electronics to build it myself. I'm looking for cheapest but reliable dolly. Can you share your experience in that topic?

Any help is more that welcome.

Greetings:
Piotr

In terms of value for money, you can't beat the dynamic perception kit.
If you don't want to spend that much, then you're pretty much in the build it yourself category.

But don't fool yourself, the DIY method, however fun and educational, is a never ending spiral of should of, would of, oops, improvements, disappointment, and successes costing nearly as much as the "commercial" option.

The DP system is fantastic and if I had the patience to save my money I would have one by now.

This was a dolly I built back in college for about $150 in materials:

It was a flimsy pos but it worked! of course with the pvc track you'll only be able to use it on level or near-level surfaces. Like Derek said, if you build your own you'll probably make a lot of expensive mistakes but it is very rewarding when you make it work!
