Post Seasonal Change Timelapse
Looking for some advice regarding timelapsing a seasonal change:
I have two solar powered setups that will remain on location for 6 months to capture full seasonal change. The other timelapses will convey the seasonal change via the blend method (blend method because we will be leaving for several months and taking all the gear with us.) So we will shoot the first part of the timelapse, pull all the gear, and then return several months later to shoot the second part in the exact same location.

in the past, how have people recorded measurements, angles, etc. to help keep positional consistency between the two timelapses being blended? We will also be using a moco rig, which seems to make it more of a challenge.

Thanks

How'd it turn out? Did either way (blend or leaving the gear there) have an advantage in the end?
