Hi,
from a layman's point of view I would not be surprised if a 1D Mark IV could write raw 14bit movie footage to its card IF Canon would be willing to launch that feature. The Red ONE is a 12Mp camera based on at least two years old DSLR technology, so the dual DIGIC IV setup in the MK IV should be able to handle the data from the 15Mp chip.

I would be happy if they could resolve the problem of hot/dead pixels and noise at high iso.

hi
tested the canon 7d, which has the " dual DIGIC IV setup" , way more noise then 5d mark2, might not be the best for the next gen video
