 Shooting in snow/rain?
I've been trying to find out just how you do it, without getting snow or water on the lens? Obviously, people do this all the time in films, but I've yet to be able to find any answers online. I noticed in Steve's latest Nature Notes behind the scenes, he used the Spintec Rain Deflector, which seemed to work excellent. Is there anything like this available for DSLRs? Or does a mattebox do a good job?

 Re: Shooting in snow/rain?
I'm trying to figure this one too. Trying to capture a rainbow isnt easy. I've got my 5dII in a rig like in my pic, I'm gunna get a red rig rain cover that I found to hopefully fit over that. With the flags on the matte box hopefully the lense will stay dry long enough.

 Re: Shooting in snow/rain?
Let me know how it goes, man. I'd really like to do a lot of snow stuff this winter, and while it's raining this summer.
