 The ultimate slowmo/moco studio
These guys are incredible at what they do, I am blown away. Check out Marmalade, if you need it on film and a solution doesn't exist, they'll invent it. http://vimeo.com/43455552

 Re: The ultimate slowmo/moco studio
Theirs me trying to get 360 degrees revs in under 10 secs . I give up ! Amazing ! The forces involved in that amount of acceleration and deceleration must be incredible . Wouldn’t like to get in the way of it though. Think it would cause death.

 Re: The ultimate slowmo/moco studio
On a more serious note sussed out how they do it ! Think it’s a supped up industrial robot seen that sort of articulation before but never that speed . Bet it strips gears or whatever for fun . If ya fancy one theirs one on eBay at mo http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fanuc-S430if- ... 2c65ee66f2 You will also have to buy a forklift to move it

 Re: The ultimate slowmo/moco studio
Thanks for sharing. That SPIKE rig is one cool application of a high-speed positioning robot. Good to see the use of practical effects rather than heavy use of dodgy CGI.
