Best cities for access to high points looking down
Calling any city night time lapsers still dropping in here:
Which in your opinion are the best cities (in respect of easy permission of access to spectacular vantage points) to do dramatic time lapses at night? I`m in Europe but suggestions form anywhere are welcome. Many of the best time lapses are looking down on night traffic from skyscapers (rooftops persumably). But in a week`s visit to a city, obviously the time is better spent shooting than seeking permission.
Thanks

Re: Best cities for access to high points looking down
Should I comment on the obvious - I'd say a lot of the time permission may not have been sought / granted

I don`t doubt it Karl.
I`m thinking Shanghai might fit the bill. And being white I can always plead humble ignorance if my presence at a high spot is unwelcome by an official!

I would like to know this too! US seems like a bad idea though.

In general I'd suggest any developing city / country with a construction boom.
