Hello,

I'm doing my thesis project and I was shooting some scenes with HDR of sunsets and sunrises.

For some wierd reason the first attempt even without the lense twist method when batch processed my image sequence into SNS-HDR I had no flicker at all!

The second attempt (same method) I encountered flicker, same with the third and fourth although this time I also used the lense twist method. This makes me 90% sure that its related to the software and not my camera/settings. But I dont understand why the first time everything went perfect and now all hail flicker!

I've tried tons of experiments with the software but I can't manage to eliminate the flicker. Has anyone encountered kinda the same issue?

Thanks in advance!

P.S i'm desperate!

I don't know anything about SNS-HDR, but many HDR apps use "image-adaptive" algorithms - especially for tone-mapping. This means it processes each picture slightly differently, depending on the actual image content. You might apply the exact same HDR slider settings to all images in your sequence, but the actual processing may differ from image to image, resulting in flicker.

If SNS has some way to disable - or turn down - it's tone-mapping, you might try that. Or if offers a non-tonemapped option - eg "image fusion", try that.
