Hey guys. This is my first post here. I've done 50+ timelapses and want to move into slider with controlled motion. I look at products like Revolve, Rhino, etc. I want to know what starter products are out there and in total, everything I should be looking at in terms of doing motion controlled lapses. Cheers thanks!

You want someone to tell you everything you should be looking at?

How about you do some research yourself then come back with specific questions.

By far the most inexpensive dolly is the Slidetracked dolly made by Timescapes member Derek Mellott. It does a great job, its user interface is easy to learn and its light to carry.

Derek doesn't have an advertising budget or corporate money so you'll have to look around for one but its worth the time to find it. Some of the nicest gear is made by individuals because they actually use it. This was not designed by some guy in a cubicle who did it between designing a washing machine and a car seat. You have to buy this stuff when you find it because its hard for little guys to stay in business with the low volume of sales that happens when you can't afford to advertise.
