Post MULTICAM TIMELAPSE
Hi everyone.
I got a request from a client who wants to project a 24h timelapse on three walls (or a semi circular one). I need huge resolution, a near 180 degree field of view, but no distortion. So, a super wide angle lens doesn't do the job. I think a four camera setup in portrait mode could give me a good FOV both vertically and horizontally. The real issue is: how do I manage the stitching of 4 images at time and be sure the process will give me the same result every time? I'm worried photoshop could manage pixel differently from one set to the other.

Has anyone tried multi cam timelapses before?

Hi,

you should take a look at PTGui or Autopano (professional stiching apps). They have batching process to stich multiple groups of pictures taken from the same point of view (you create some kind of template from the first group and use that on the other ones). That would do the exact same stiching for every group of pictures.
