Post subject:  Strange static objects in star timelapse - what is it?

Hi there, Im new to timelapse and star photography. I shot a sequence this weekend and noticed several of the 'stars' appear static and then fade away. I have no idea what this could be and figure maybe someone on this forum can clarify whats going on?

https://youtu.be/HIHwv22XMns

The sequence is shot in Norway with a Pentax K-3, about 2 hours after sunset.

Geosynchronous Satellites? a refection in a filter in front of the lenses?

weird ? check the original frames because it sort of looks like the mp4 encoding that's caused it.

Thanks for your replies! :)
@pixelbot: No filters used. I did some research about the geosync. satelites, and yes that could be it, but to me it still seems strange since there are so many. The videos I have seen there are one to maybe a few.

@amonstmyselves: I checked the frames, the static dots are still there in my RAW files, so that rules out video encoding as the cause.

Any other ideas?

When doing long exposure you get hot pixels but they are usually there all the time and don't move ? It certainly something to do with the camera's sensor. Hmm ?

One thing to check is that that are only one pixel in size which will tell you if it's a electronic or software issue. If it is some sort of visual artifact it would spread over more than one pixel.

The movement in the video was done in post?
So the static objects are actually on fixed positions on the camera sensor?
