Post Andrew's aperture drive comes back to life!
So now that the Little Bramper is in my life. I was inspired to pull out the wonderful aperture drive (Andrew Curtis made for me a few years back), go ahead and modify my lovely Nikon 17-35/2.8 (for fluid aperture movement) and mate the whole kit-n-kabootle to the 5dm2 with a 16-9.net adapter (of course I'm already trying to figure out how to drive the tab on this adapter but I'm impatient!). I'm really looking forward to a bramping session with this extra 6 stops in the bag! I may get an opportunity tonight to put it to the test... (unless my lovely lady starts getting ideas ;) )

That's one hell of a hybrid system, Canon, Nikon and Meade? lol

I have a Nikon 14-24mm f2.8 lens and the novoflex adaptor for my canons that looks like it would work in that configuration, one to add to my lightrail clone :)

I love it :)

Nice to see you're still getting some use out of the ol' aperture drive.

Hi,

any news on that? I am more interested in using it for zooming and focussing, but I guess that shouldn't be too hard to do, right?
Is this an official fork on your dolly project?

Best Regards
David

This may be a dumb question, but how does this work? Does that Nikon lens have a ring for aperture? As well as zoom and focus?
