Post Removing birds in AE?
Hi,

I'm sorry if this has been covered elsewhere, but a search turned up nothing, and new tools are always turning up.

Is there a tool out there that automatically removes birds? This would be so easy to write - it's a small black object that only appears for a frame, or moves very quickly. It would be easy for software to pick out, but is a real bore to do manually using the clone tool. Or maybe using a key that picks out black objects within a masked region...?

Anything out there?

Cheers! ;)

Thanks, but doing that I get double images. It's ok if you've got something slow moving, and on a small screen, but not for what I'm doing.

I notice that using that method but with the Classic Difference blending mode generates a matte - maybe I can build something from that without having to resort to a key. I'm surprised that no one seems to have written a script for this - it's such a common problem.
