 clouds+stars in focus?How would you go about getting stars and clouds in focus, especially if the clouds are low. Wide angle small aperture? Impossible?

Re: clouds+stars in focus? In most cases the clouds are moving slowly during exposure so "sharpness" is not an issue, even with reasonably open apertures.

Re: clouds+stars in focus? Yup, just focus on the stars. Unless the clouds are really really low they will still be in focus, and will have motion blur anyway from the long exposure.

You mean they're so low they're really fog? My Nikkor lenses, depending on the focal length, have focus rings with that end at infinity, of course, but the number before infinity is 3 or 10 meters.
