Hello everyone, I am new here and I tried to search for info on what exposure I should use when shooting time lapse photo (video) from day to night OR night to day. I can't seem to find a direct answer.

If I set my camera for night shot, it will be overexposed when the sun comes up. Do you change the exposure somewhere in the middle? Or when do you change the exposure? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
