Hello all!

I will be attempting a timelaspe at a coliseum of a boxing ring setup being put together for a night of boxing. My question is what shutter speed and interval would you guys suggest? I think a little motion blur would be good so I will want to drag the shutter a little.

I am guessing shutter speed around 1/8 - 1/4. Interval around 5 sec.

The shutter will be fine upto 1/30 however the interval will have to vary depending on the "action".
A 5 sec interval will give you about 12 secs of TL taking 360 shots in half an hour.
If the whole setup takes, say 6 hours, you would be better of taking lots of smaller segments at different angles to make your TL a bit more interesting.
A favourite setup is to do the above while a second camera captures the whole event from one location at an interval that your memory card can cope with.
If you do the boxing aswell then a 3min round need the shortest interval possible.
eg. A stable 2sec interval, shooting in RAW, gives you a 3sec TL clip!

Thanks! I hadn't thought about the smaller segments. I will only be shooting the setup in TL.
