Post What compression to use while editing?
What compression do people use while editing?
I use virtualdub to combine the pictures, and I usually just save it as uncompressed AVI.
But lately some of the clips take to much space.. 2 min of uncompressed video @ 15 gig is just to much.

Hi,

you could apply lossless compression to the video which brings down the filesize to around 1-2Gb per minute.
Just install the latest ffdshow tryouts, choose huffyuv compression and be happy.

Best Regards
David
