Post Panasonic GH2 and it's 3D lens...
Hi,

I would like to know your thoughts on the new 3D interchangeable lens for the Panasonic GH2.

I did not see for myself the image quality neither the 3d effect. But I thought that it could be a inexpensive way to make a 3d timelapse.
Also I have no idea how to process those images. Anyone got experiances? An idea if after effects can handle that format?

Best, Alec

Well if it's the lens I recently saw pictures of where the two view ports were only about a 1/2 inch apart, I'd say it was a waste of time. Spatial separation needs to be at least the width apart of your eyes for most applications. There are formulas for working out what looks good in different situations though.
