Post Full Time
I'm curious to know if anyone out there does time-lapse photography exclusively as a full time job. Thanks, Jeremy

There are a couple of people here who are full-time time-lapsers, but realistically for the most part it is just not cost effective unless you get yourself attached to specific projects.
Stock time-lapse footage only sells for about the same amount as real time footage mostly, yet it takes a whole lot longer to get.

Thanks Antz. Yes, I understand the time difference. I thought it might be a stretch to find any full-timers but I keep seeing more and more TL footage in Film and TV recently. Glad to hear there's a few folks out there "living the dream".

The clips are usually taken from stock libraries, then requested if you have any unpublished and finally commisioned to shoot :-)

Taking about full time, how do you guys price your footage? I know it depends on a lot of things, but let's say for example a "simple" sunset clip. How much does it cost usually? I don't really have a clue about prices.

How long is a piece of string?

Always depends on usage and nothing to do with how much it cost you to do.

This will give you some idea......
