Awesome project! The infrared looked very cool but the music was perfect for this. Did you write the music just for this or did you add sound effects for the train, the bridge and the waves on top of an existing score?

Thanks sciencelookers! My son Travis (a music student) did the soundtrack. He built it from the ground up with his own homemade samples, guitar, keyboard ect. I handed him the edited footage, and that's what he came back with. I was expecting a more musical/emotive type treatment and was really surprised at how the effects draw you deeper into the visuals. I've looked at this footage more than I care to admit, but the soundtrack had me seeing things I hadn't noticed before. Really cool and a big reason why the film is getting the response that it is I think.

thats pretty darn good. love that ir. i like how you cut away just before you smash into the back of the pick up on that bridge lol lighting up those trees was great too. the only things i could add would have been nice if perhaps the boat could have veered towards the trees or even have the camera momentarily under the branches when you where on the river in like a super slow motion not sure how you would pull that off exactly however lol .also would have been cool if when you were moving across the pond if you could have continued on over the ground as well for a distance because then i would be thinking how the hell did he do that smoothly. but thats just me and food for thought perhaps. its a great video music was interesting your son did a great job congrats on a job well done.
