This is a really nice one I came across....

I'm planning to do a number of shots just like this one this summer, up at some remote lakes in the Sierras. This guy did a great job exposing for the Milky Way. I'd love to know what his settings were.

I've seen this guy's stuff around. This is kinda like those photos of the sky you posted, I still don't understand how you can expose the sky so well without having star trails!

This picture is very clean (not much noise) for having been shot at ISO 1600! I dream of getting a 1Ds Mark III.
