Ive just exported over 1000 GoPro stills from Lightroom for a time lapse sequence and Ive noticed a problem. Lightroom has mixed up the order of the stills. It has mixed them up and renumbered them so I can't create a time lapse sequence from them (well I can but the end result would look very confusing.) When I look at the row of stills at the bottom of the Lightroom interface, I see the following sequence with the file names: Event (938), Event (939), Event (94), Event (940) etc. Before exporting the files to Lightroom, they were renamed and renumbered in Internet Explorer and I made sure that the order of the photos was correct. And now Lightroom has mixed them up! Ive never had this problem when importing and exporting files with my Panasonic G2.

you need to have them names starting with 001 and not 1. So for your case that should have been 094 and not 94.

Go back into lightroom and while in the Library mode - hit the T key to turn on the tool bar while will appear near the bottom just above the files, there will be a SORT pulldown and set that to captured time then renumber them with 3 digits in Lightroom.

How are you sorting?

Try sorting by capture time instead of by file name.
