Whats the highest quality file format to render time-lapse canon raw files to for a feature film? The files will be going to a DI facility for grading

Can you ask whoever you're submitting the file/s to, which formats they accept?

ya, I haven't nailed down a specific DI facility yet. A little ways out from that. Just curious what the highest quality formats I should look into

If you're on a mac, ProRes is probably the one to go to. I'm not, so for high-quality files but I use Quicktime - PhotoJPEG codec.

I would suggest you render previews for now in a codec that is convenient for you and then re-render to the preferred format of the facility you end up picking when you get to that point. Over the last few years when supplying files for mastering to DCP I've been asked to supply in Animation, ProRes 4444 and 422 HQ, Cineform and CinemaDNG. You should also check the pixel size they prefer. Some places like 1920x1080 others want it as 2048x1080.

I've recently starting finishing my sequences as a Tiff sequence... I was told this is the goods??? I was doing photo JPEG but I was told that's old and out dates now...
