Post TLTools - Another deflicker software
Hello everybody!

My name is Mauro, I'm from italy.
For some time I have been developing a program for the deflicker.

Image
The program is called TLTools and works in conjunction with Lightroom and ExifTool.
The program has the following features:
Flickering: With this program you can fix the flickering. What is the flickering? The flickering is perceived unpleasant flickering in the movie that is due to changes in brightness between one frame and the next.
To eliminate this unpleasant problem, the program will suggest changes to the exposure values such that in the final movie brightness variations are more smooth and gradual.
Edit Parameters: When a timelapse sequence is performed by varying some key parameters (exposure time, or diaphragm, the technique is called bulp-ramping and is implemented using special software such as magic lantern or other), the result you get is a movie where these changes are perceived because the brightness change is sudden and remarkable. The program automatically suggests changes to ensure that the final movie, these changes are masked with uniform and gradual changes.
Simulation Movements camera:The program allows you to create automatically and fast simulated movements of the camera. Among the possible movements are pan, tilt, zoom and freehand.
Create Template Lightroom export: (up to 4K resolutions and frame rates up to 60 fps).

The program is in Italian and English.
You can select the language.
The program is only for windows.

Requirements:
Windows XP or later
Adobe Lightroom 3.5 or later
Exiftool (is automatically installed)
Screen resolution at least 1280×960

Short tutorial that shows how to create thumbnails for use with the program TLTools.
Using these previews, rather than those extracted from the RAW files, the results are better.

I'm sorry for my lack of knowledge of the English language.
I am using the google translator. Sorry

Unfortunately they are not equipped to create Mac applications
The program is written in C + +.
The compiler used is only for windows.
Sorry

New version of the program.
Have added new filters to create video.
Among these filters, there are a few that allow you to create startrails directly from the program.
Here is a video showing the use of these new filters.

Post Re: TLTools - Another deflicker software
Hey Mamo,

I tried using tltools on a Mac, but was having a couple of problems.
I found this thread on another forum (https://timelapse.org/forums/threads/ne ... 193/page-2) and it's exactly the problem that I'm having.

Metadata
I select the folder and after a couple of minutes the images are imported. No thumbs are visible. When I click on deflickr there appears an error window (can't read metadata...). I tried recreating the previews or refreshing the data (in Utility), but nothing changes.

The images I imported were used in Adobe Bridge and after that in Lightroom. In LR I saved the metadata for all files (shown in your video).
I got curios of why the metadata couldn't be imported, so I made a quick timelapse of only 10 images in a new folder and followed the exact steps of your video. This time the metadata appeard with no problem! I guess it is because I didn't import the Raw Images in Bridge, but only in LR.
First problem solved.

Previews
On a Pc the previews were generated with no problem!
On Mac the exact 10 Raw images don't get a preview.
I guess there seems to be a problem with the jpg conversion in TLTools. When I click on the blue arrow, a new window appears with 10 jpgs and 10 XMP files. When I open a jpg, an error message appears: The image... cannot be displayed because it contains errors.
On a PC this works with no problem.

I hope I can help you get this bug solved, because I really appreciate the software!

By the way, when I click on recreate previews, I get jpeg error #41.
Maybe that can help!

I've found the problem!

The previews don't work with an external harddrive! When I copy all the images to my Mac and then import them, the thumbnails are generated!

@Mamo: Could you tell that to the person from this thread https://timelapse.org/forums/threads/ne ... 193/page-2

Hi Maseone,
Thank you very much for reporting and for having solved the problem :D :D :D

I take this opportunity to point out another feature is not fully functional on Mac.
The generation of video directly from my program only works with the codec uncompressed frames.
I'm sorry.
Ciao

Hello to all.
I posted a new version.
There are some new features.
Among these I wanted to report a new filter to automatically remove insects, birds, boats etc ...
Here is an example of the potential of the filter:

Man this looks fantastic! It's also very similar to LRTimelapse (like they are brothers) but also huge difference... this one is FREE! Well, you can donate of course...
Very good work Mamo, congratulations! Keep up the good work!

Published a new version of the program
You can find it here:
http://www.tltools.it/wp/en/download/
Also released a new program that allows you to create short animated intro.

From the next versions, the program will be provided TLTools a small video editing program where you can create video composed of multiple sequences.

Hello.
Can you give me some more information?
Your operating system?
Which version of the program you are using?
What codec selections to create the video?

is the first time someone tells me this problem.
Among the options, there should be (depending on the version you use) also to not delete frames created when generating the video.
If you open one of these frames, it is upside down?
During the creation of the video, the program shows a video frame rendered. It is upside down?
If they are not, then the problem occurs during the assembling of the frames. This may depend on the codec used.

Mamo

Hello again,

sorry for troubling. Everything seems to fine now. I don't how I managed to create those flipped videos. But they exist. However, a really cool tool! Great job!

And of course thanks a lot for the fast response.
