 Greetings from London
Hi all,
I am new here and decided to register after seeing the amount of information available, and I'm looking to get some help/tips for creating time lapse clips.
I am born and bred in South Africa and recently moved to London, UK to be with my wife who is English. I usually shoot landscape images but have recently been amazed with night/star photos and thus am tempted to delve into some star lapse work. I am actually heading back to South Africa in 3 weeks time and wish to put my knowledge I learn from here to the test there and try create some half decent lapse clips.
Using a Canon 5d Mk ii, with only 2 lenses at this stage, the Canon 50mm 1.8 and the 17-40 F4 L.
Looking forward to engaging with the members here and learning a few things.

 Re: Greetings from London
Welcome and yes head down south to get your starlapse shots. Your camera gear will be OK, similar to mine for starlapse. Search starlapse for more tips on this forum before you go. Best of Luck. PS you'll be lucky to get away from light pollution in the UK Plus a clear night sky?
