 The Name is Brian
Hi Time Lapsers !
I posted something earlier and neglected to introduce myself. As the title states, my name is Brian. I have been into photography for a while now. I can't quite tell you how long because I have no idea about dates but all I know is it has been most my life. I can make a bold statement like that because I am only 21 years young so the thought of photography being most it is not hard to grasp.
I got into photography from my dad. He was a studio and wedding photographer for 30+ years while also having a full time job. He is all the person I wish to be when I grow up and his knowledge of everything studio surpasses all that I have learned in school.
I am currently studying to be a Graphic Designer and earning my fine arts degree. I love computers, cameras, website design, and doing recreational gymnastics on my own time. Funny combination right?
My goals are to better grasp photography, especially time lapse. I have a fascination with Astro Time Lapses so I am really trying to focus on that right now. I also hate the thought of being limited by my camera and gear so I am hoping to create inspirational pieces with my less than par sensors and glass.
My gear: (Starter for now) Canon T1i (500D) Kit Lens 18-55mm IS Fantastic Plastic 50mm Canon EF 1/8 II Canon Zoom Lens 55-250mm IS
I have one flash (aside the built in one) and it was handed to me by my dad. It is loud and big but does the job: Starblitz 3000BT-TWIN
Other Stuff: 3 Tripods, and a mini one from walmart for mobility. Wide angle adapter which is cruddy but also gets the job done. I am hoping to expand this list greatly in the future once I lock down a career or win the lottery haha.
I am happy to be able to participate in this site and I hope I can offer insight while gaining knowledge !

Scott Kelby's Digital Photography Books should fast track you to better photography, especially Book 1.
