Post London - UK here...
Caught the T/L by about 2 years ago filming a video called "Miracle". Then in space of 1 and half years, went from a 400d to a 5d MK ii and spent shitloads on this new hobby.

Produce some stuff for scommercial stock footage usage.

Still very much learning - Hyperlapse - Dolly Motion - HDR

As an 'outdoors' lover, T/L allows me to combine my two passions - photography and travel.
Going to New Mexico, Yosemite and California coast in a few months. Next on my list Tokyo, Australia and Pacific Islands

Would be great to hook up with fellow London-based photographers to share ideas and stuff and go on shoots together.

Peace !

Mate! I totally know what you mean!
3 years ago got made redundant from a contract tv news and sport camera op job, stayed up late a lot in the begining and wached a lot of timelapse late at night, now im a teacher for the most part but live a double live as a timelapser :-)
Today i think i shot some of my best work with a merlin!
(still rendering)
Dont have all the gear just yet but im certainly perfecting this craft every time do a shot!

I really does become an obsession after you get that first awesome shot :-)

Hey ArtsGuru.

Bit of a newbie myself but would love to start a group of some like minded Time Lapse fans (obsessives! :) ) in London.

There's an idea ! i don't actually think there's a group for TL enthusiasts in London. But would be great to start one. to share tips on locations in London and the best places to shoot and stuff!

The trouble with London is - everyone shoots the same stuff - Millennium Wheel, Tower Bridge, Big Ben .... and because of the limits of access locations to these sites, everyone shoots at the same bloody angle !!!

Hi Guys, im London based and getting into shooting time lapse stuff! Would be very keen to collaborate with any (or all) of you on any projects you have coming up (or in mind).

I am a pro photographer by day and am looking to incorporate some time lapse work into my workflow, so there may even be a business opportunity here...who knows.

Anyway, even if its just for fun keen to do something!

Cheers, Will!
