I have another question regarding this topic: is it somehow possible to do a timelapse with an interval less than a second with the 5D MK II?

I think it should be capable of it even shooting in RAW but I've never seen an intervalometer with steps lower than 1 second... but it seems more and more like I'll need the little bramper... also to solve my problem with the holy grail... Basically just keep an eye on the data card access LED on the back of the camera. If it goes out between shots, it is keeping up. On the 600x CF card I use it probably takes about 0.5 secs to write raw to the card.
