 Orion and Jupiter
Here is a shot of Orion and Jupiter shot with my G-12 loaded with CHDK. I was able to bump up the ISO to 10,000. Approx 35 secs, f/4.0. Taken Sept 23/2012 0400h CDT. Tracked on my go-to mount. Orion 10k ISO Used Canon CHDK on flashcard by david moug, on Flickr

Taken on 16th Dec with a Canon 5DII, 50mm F1.8 at 20secs, ISO3200 on tripod. Its not upside down

It's middle kingdom because ancient Chinese believed that they were the center of the world. Lotr and The Hobbit were shot here in Aotearoa

unozig, perhaps a wee bit too personal question for this forum, but i do feel inclined to ask. You mention New Zealand as Aotearoa, which makes me wonder if you're a Maori? on topic, im pleasently surprised to see you made these 'upside down' star pictures with a G12. They look very nice

G12? 5DII as mentioned above. Not Maori just the Immigration was a lot longer as I'm originally from across the water from you

They look very nice  Hi analogworm, i have loaded CHDK onto a 4g flashcard and used it in my G-12. that lets a user expand the cameras capabilities. i can increase the ISO, I can increase the exposure times. There are even functions that allow me to have a intervalometer without an external timer. here is the link below.
