Post Forum compatible with TapaTalk?
I've been using on my iPhone Tapatalk (http://www.tapatalk.com/) to post and read messages when I don't have access to the net on a desktop.
It is really handy and is used over at the PentaxForums. Is this board listed or capable of being part of the experience?
Just curious.

I have no idea. Is this something we need to add to phpbb3?

According to the forum owner tab on the TapaTalk website (http://www.apple.com/ipad/gallery/#hardware06)
"Registration to the Forum Owner Area is free and easy. Once you enter, you will be guided by the 3 step wizard. The first step is to download a Tapatalk Plugin that's compatible with your forum system (Currently vBulletin and phpBB3 are supported). The Plugin is designed to be safe and easy to install/uninstall. It does not modify or replace any of your current system configurations however it inherits all of your forum security policies. And uninstall is as easy as removing a directory."

You then just need to add the forum to their listing and have a small logo of yours to add.

"your forum is ready to be published to Tapatalk Network so your members can find their way to your forum using the Tapatalk app on iPhone/Android/Nokia. You can either make it appear to everyone (great for exposure!) or set it as 'Search Only'"

I read the board just fine on my iphone as it is, but I haven't tried what you're talking about.

I second the tapatalk setup! I just went to this thread to suggest it's use but someone beat me too it. It really makes a difference when wanting to look up all the great resources on here and not be looking at the site in tiny iPhone form haha.

What is the status of this request? I would really appreciate tapatalk support too. I use it every day on my phone.

As Tapatalk supports phpBB the setup would only take minutes: the benefit/effort ratio would be enormous :)

+1!!!

Tapatalk is amazing, it 's nice because it only loads textual content and not the whole page (compared to regular browsing).
So on mobile it works pretty fast and it's just very nice to use :)

+1 for tapatalk...

I installed it on my phpbb forum, and it was really fairly easy. Just a matter of signing up on the tapatalk site, and then inserting a small bit of code in the header.

Would love to see this added!

Agreed, James. I installed it on my phpbb board and it took about 5 minutes! :)

(This feature would be really easy to add and free - only the users pay about 3$ to download the app.)
