Hi Guys,
I've been asked to shoot a timelapse for 23 days for up to 12 hours each day. Due to the risk of theft I'm going to have to set up each morning, so leaving the camera is out of the question.
I'm looking for a battery solution to power a 5D MK III for around 12 hours, shooting around 4 shots per minute in raw. Although expensive, I found this device -
http://www.theflashcentre.com/godox_lp-800x_lithium_ion_power_inverter.html. I'm unsure of the maths involved to make a calculation but the retailer tells me that it's more than enough power to run for a day. I know it's overkill but I quite like the features and ports of the device to use in the future when on the move.
Would anyone be able to tell me if that is indeed the case. Is it enough power in theory? Naturally there's many real world variables to take into consideration, but does this tick the mathematical box?
Thanks a lot for your time.
