You are a man of so many talents!

I enjoyed seeing your work. Do you use 3D printing for your models, some shapes look rather big. I think you have the dream job:)

Great work D1. I sometimes think I love watching the 'extras' more than the actual films. Fortunately my wife is the same.

Some some complex and colourful looking models D1, also like to look at the "behind the scenes" videos.

Delivery of another carbon tube imminent, unfortunately last one to be decommissioned.

Smile, it gives your face something to do!

Hi Edward i do have a sort of 3D printer . Just a extruder on the end of my mill runs through Mach3 fine . 3D printing ok for some things but PLA is not that easy to clean up and it does need cleaning up . Hope to be able to cast the 3D prints in aluminium when i get the furnace working :D .
Dream job when theirs work bit intermittent these days :( This is last job very odd but fun never want to see woolen jumpers ever again !

Hi Mike another carbon fiber tube yeah! any plans ? Technocrane?
Glad you all enjoyed the behind the scenes .. Do any of you remember Cinefex magazine i never bought it but the entire back catalog is available as download ... ollection/. Lots of behind the scenes info on classic films my treat myself when next job comes in .
Ps Happy New years everybody

Totally awesome! I had to wait until I could use a different computer to watch the video. Apparently XP doesn't have some drivers that vimeo uses now. Was definitely worth the wait. Amazing models. They really look beautiful. Wish I got to do stuff like that at work.

Have you considered selling STL files for people to make toys from? Our engineer has been very successful selling STLs. He showed me some toys he drew and also a Harley knucklehead motor in a small scale. If you CNC the motor out of metal, it should run. He's already sold thousands of dollars worth of STLs
