 Dynamic perception app voltage reading
Hi all, I've been quite confused by the dynamic perception voltage reading on the NMX app. After one timelapse sequence of 200 frames (two stepper motors powered by a 12v 8000 mah battery), the app is telling me that my voltage went from 12.3 volts to 11.5. Is this even remotely possible? Anyone else have experiences with drastic voltage reading drops on the app?

Re: Dynamic perception app voltage reading
Better question is... are you using the dreaded Chinese blue brick batteries?
Because those are crap for anything needing lots of power (stepper motors). First of all, the mAH rating is for the 3.7V, so at 12V it is 1/4 that... so at 12V it is 2.5A only.
Not sure what the power draw is for the NMX gear but if there is no power saving on the motors that would be sapped quite quickly.

Re: Dynamic perception app voltage reading
It's very possible if the time period was longer and your power save settings were all off. Here are the usual questions: -How many axis running? -How many axis with power save mode off? -How long were you running the shot? 11.5 is not 'dead' by any means.. 1V lower at 10.5 and now you should get concerned about it cutting out. Here's all the info on power save and power consumption: http://support.dynamicperception.com/hc ... Save-Mode-
